According to U.K. news publicationThe Independent, many plastic surgery centers in the U.K. and the U.S. have seen a rise in patient interest in lip fillers, due to Kylie Jenner's admission that she had work done in the past.
Jenner had been under strict scrutiny during past months for her altered appearance including fuller lips, a more pronounced backside and enhanced breasts. Her larger lips even started the #KylieJennerChallenge on social media sites, where young teens and adults used shot glasses and other means to increase lip size. This caused adverse health issues in some participants, including permanent disfiguration.
Jenner had previously denied all claims of plastic surgery until recently, admitting to having lip fillers on her family's show 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians". After revealingthis, interest in the procedure spiked, as many realized they too could have more enhanced lips with the help of dermal fillers.
