What is Restylane?

Restylane is made of hyaluronic acid, which is found naturally in our bodies in joints and cartilage.

It is a soft, clear substance and is entirely biodegradable, which is one of the reasons why it is the most trusted lip enhancer available.

The effects of Restylane lasted about six months, and recent clinical trials showed that at least 95 percent of patients tested retained correction 18 months later when the area was re-treated at five to nine months.

Restylane Recovery & Results

Immediately following injection, an ice pack will be placed on your face to soothe and minimize the potential for bruising or swelling.

You may have some redness or swelling at the injection site, although this usually dissipates rapidly, allowing most patients to return to work immediately following the procedure. If you have had a lip enhancement, swelling may be more pronounced and last a bit longer. However, the improvement in your appearance is immediate and will last six to eight months.
