Prior to your treatment with Cynosure Long Island plastic surgeon, Dr. Marotta and his team, will perform a detailed pre-procedure skin evaluation. Then, the team will calibrate the Cynosure™ laser to your unique skin type.
The Cynosure™ laser features Advanced Contact Cooling™ technology to keep your skin comfortable throughout the procedure and reduce the likelihood of swelling. The ThreeForMe™ Laser Treatment can reduce the appearance of scars, wrinkles, sun damage and exposed veins. The first pass of the laser uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology, which treats sun damage, age spots, rosacea, spider veins and broken blood vessels. A second pass utilizes a microbeam that gently renews skin by stimulating the production of elastin and collagen – proteins that add fullness for a youthful look.
Immediately after ThreeForMe™ Laser Treatment, you may feel a mild sunburn-like sensation. Minor swelling may last for 24 hours and redness may be visible for up to three days.
Cooling gel minimizes the potential for swelling, and additional applications of hydrocortisone cream or aloe vera gel may also help. After the redness has subsided, you may return to your regular makeup and skincare routine. Over the next several days, you may experience flaking, which will reveal glowing skin underneath. You’ll also notice the continued reduction of fine lines and wrinkles as your body produces new collagen. One to three treatment sessions may be necessary to achieve your desired results.
